Friday, September 30 to Tuesday, November 29 From Home to Headquarters: Washington in Worcester This fall, the Peter Wentz Farmstead is beginning a new annual tradition! This yearly interpretive event will see the Wentz family’s home transformed into Washington’s headquarters as it was in October of 1777. Using reproduction furniture and other objects, the Stove Room will become General Washington’s Aide-de-Camp office to more effectively help visitors understand Washington’s use of this house during his occupation of the Farmstead. This is an ongoing exhibit that will be included in all regular tours between September 30th and November 29th. This exhibit has been made possible through a generous grant from the Spring House Questers. All ages, free.
