Montgomery County's Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) is for residents affected by Hurricane Ida. The MARC is open today, September 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. At the MARC, residents have access to representatives from non-profit disaster relief organizations; municipal, County, and State emergency management agencies; elected officials; and various County and State government human services agencies.
The MARC will be located at 2 W. Lafayette Street, Norristown, PA 19401, the headquarters of the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit. Parking will be available on site. The MARC is also within walking distance of SEPTA’s Norristown Transportation Center, providing access to numerous bus routes and the Norristown High Speed Line. Regional Rail service on the Manayunk/Norristown Line remains suspended as crews repair damage caused by Hurricane Ida.

The Office of Housing and Community Development will conduct a hearing to provide the citizens of Montgomery County with an opportunity to comment on the requested extension of the use of funds received by the PA DCED ESG-CV CARES Act to support local efforts in Homelessness Prevention. The extension will allow the use of these funds to June 30, 2022.
This virtual Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 4:00 PM. For instructions on how to access the meeting please email Kori Springer (email@example.com). Interested parties may attend the hearing and present their comments. Please call 610-278-3540 if you have a special need and require accommodation to participate. Advance notice of 5 days is required for sign-language or non-English speaking interpreter services, at no cost to the requester.
