Explore several trees on the Pennypacker property in this engaging Tree Explore for Kids. Kids ages 5-10 years old may participate. Learn how trees grow, identify them, fill out a fun tree identification sheet, and do a tree rubbing too…all outdoors! Families may choose the 10:00-11:00 am or 1:00-2:00 pm program to attend. Each registration will be for 1-2 kids with 1 adult to assist them. This workshop is limited to just five families per workshop. The fee is $5/child. Please wear masks and social distance. Celebrate Earth Day by volunteering! Help the Farm Park by assisting in the removal invasive plants. Ranger Mike will lead an effort to remove invasive plants from a section of our park. Some native species will be planted. Bring work gloves; loppers, pruning shears, & shovels are helpful if you have them. Participants must complete a release form to participate.
