NORRISTOWN, PA – Norristown Farm Park, in partnership with nonprofit Pennsylvania Master Naturalist, will host a volunteer Master Naturalist Training Course where Montgomery County residents can learn more about nature and support conservation efforts.
The 50-hour course will take place from April 5 - June 21, 2023. Classes will meet weekly on Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and for four Saturday field sessions on April 15, May 6, May 20 and June 3. After the course, participants will take part in 30 hours of service and eight hours of continuing education to become certified. The cost is $400 per person. Registration is required. The deadline to register is February 1, 2023. Space is limited and scholarships are available. COVID safety protocols will be followed, and proof of vaccination will be required.
