NORRISTOWN, PA – The public is invited to stop by during an open house for the Trail Junction Center, located at Lafayette and DeKalb Streets in Norristown, this Saturday, October 22, 2022, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Join us to learn about this exciting renovation project, which will transform the historic Norristown Freight Station into the Trail Junction Center, an inviting public facility and space providing amenities for trail users and flexible community space.
This interesting adaptive reuse project is located at the intersection of the Schuylkill River Trail and the Chester Valley Trail—two key trails in both the countywide trail system as well as the Circuit Trails regional network.
Open house participants will be able to view the existing site and talk with members of the project team, including the architects and county staff. Join us to get an up-close look at the site and building! The event will take place rain or shine. More information at www.montcopa.org/TrailJunctionCenter.
