[ARCHIVED] January 12 - Public Meeting on Swamp Creek Greenway and Sunrise Trail Feasibility Study

Sunrise Mill

This is the first public meeting for the Swamp Creek Greenway and Sunrise Trail Feasibility Study. It will take place on Thursday, January 12, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Lower Frederick Township building, 53 Spring Mount Road, Zieglerville, PA. The meeting will include an introduction to the project as well as preliminary trail alignments. The study will determine the feasibility of a public trail network along the Swamp Creek from Schwenksville to New Hanover Township. The corridor will likely include off-road multiuse trails, enhanced on-road biking routes, and hiking trails. The Montgomery County Planning Commission is developing the study in collaboration with Simone Collins and a county-appointed steering committee. The study, which began in November 2016 is anticipated to be completed in summer 2017.
