The Montgomery County Commission on Women & Families and the Montgomery County Commissioners honored Michele Kristofco, community relations specialist at the Montgomery County Office of Children and Youth, as Service Provider of the Year at their 2012 annual awareness dinner. “It is always difficult to choose an honoree, but Michele has exhibited such passion for her work with children, and often is the face of Office of Children and Youth (OCY) in our community,” said Leslie Richards, vice chair of the Montgomery County Commissioners. In addition to her work with the Office of Children and Youth, Michele works tirelessly for SuperKIDS, a non-profit organization that benefits children known to the Office of Children & Youth. Keynote speaker for the event was Lisa Nutter, wife of Philadelphia Mayor, Michael Nutter and president of Philadelphia Academies, Inc.
