Archaeology for Kids: Part 1 - Learn to Read the Land

Saturday, February 1, 2020

Archaeology is an important branch of science to study human history through the excavation and the analysis of artifacts. Reading the landscape helps us determine what the land looked like years ago to find the best places to dig. Learn to draw a map of the valley before the dam was built. Meet in the Deep Creek Stone Lodge, 2115 Snyder Road. Preregistration is required. Ages: 7 to 12 with an adult; free.
