Join us as we celebrate 32 years of Maple Sugaring in the park. We will demonstrate tree tapping and the boiling down of maple sap at our evaporator. Pure Pennsylvania Maple Syrup, cream, and candy will be available for purchase. All ages; FREE. **RAIN/SNOW DATE is Sunday March 8th, 2020.
COLOR YOUR EGGS - NATURALLY

Looking for an alternative to food coloring tablets from the grocery store? Join us to color Easter Eggs like our grandparents did - using natural materials! Bring a dozen hard-boiled eggs and sample colors from Mother Nature’s palette. Pre registration is required. Ages 3 & up with an adult; material fee of $5 per dozen eggs.

Join us for the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day on Saturday April 18th!
At 10:00am, we have a presentation in our Stone Lodge called ’Enhance Your Landscape with Small Native Trees’ presented by Master Gardener Pam Herceg. Pre-registration is required.
At 2:00pm, we have a naturalization project at our Hemlock Point Day Use Area. We are going to revitalize a meadow, remove invasive species, and plant native trees in the area.

ABOUT GREEN LANE PARK
Green Lane Park, in northwestern Montgomery County, offers a variety of year-round, outdoor activities and programs for people to choose from. Park visitors can enjoy fishing, boating (including boat rentals), family and group camping, picnicking, 25 miles of trails for horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking, as well as two children's playgrounds. Winter enthusiasts can cross-country ski, ice fish or go ice skating. The park also offers summer concerts and family-oriented, environmental education programs on weekends.

The park offers several picnic areas for families and groups. Tables and charcoal grills are available around Deep Creek Lake and at the Hill Road Day Use Area. Groups may also reserve picnic pavilions for reunions, birthday parties or other special functions. There are several miles of nature trails that attract hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians to enjoy the natural beauty of the seasons.
Leashed pets are welcome in the park and in any body of water pending they remain on a leash at all times.
ALL COUNTY PARKS, TRAILS & HISTORIC SITES ARE NOW SMOKE FREE. NO SMOKING (INCLUDING VAPORIZERS) OF ANY KIND IS ALLOWED.
Green Lane Park is always looking for volunteers for our programs and events. Some of our park events include: The Upper Perkiomen Bird and Wildlife Festival, The DeBella Dog Walk, The Triple Dam Run (presented by The Friends of Green Lane Park), and our Haunted Hayride.
