UPCOMING 2020 TRAIL REPAIR PROJECTS

Disclaimer:  Please be aware that there will be numerous trail repair projects throughout the spring and summer at the following locations (dates are TBD):

1. Cider Mill Road to Arcola Road
2. Perkiomen Boulevard to 2nd Avenue
3. GlenFarm Drive to Rhans Parking Lot
4. Rhans under pass
5. Rahns Parking Lot to PECO
6. PECO to the bridge
7. Graterford Road to Central Perkiomen Valley Park
8. Graterford Parking Lot - Both Entryways
9. Corner of Plank Road and 29
10.  Upper Ridge Road



Central Perkiomen Valley Park headquarters on Plank Road is situated along the scenic Perkiomen Creek in the center of Montgomery County. This 800-acre park extends over 10 municipalities, offering a wide variety of family activities. Visitors can enjoy a children’s playground as well as vistas of the Perkiomen Creek while fishing. Picnic tables and grills are available throughout the park’s picnic grove. There is one large pavilion available by reservation for large groups. Nearby are recreational offerings of volleyball, horseshoes and restroom facilities. For special occasions, the Park’s Old Mill House is available by reservation. Visitors can walk, jog, bike or horseback ride on over 19 miles of the Perkiomen Trail winding along the Perkiomen Creek. Central Perkiomen Valley Park is an alcohol free park. Park Hours are from 6:00 a.m. - sunset, daily. 
 

The Old Mill House


The Old Mill House, circa 1901, offers a beautiful rental facility accommodating a maximum of 80 persons. This unique facility sits alongside the Perkiomen Creek and provides outstanding panoramas of the water. The Old Mill House is a distinctive site to host a shower, party, business meeting, retreat or any special occasion. Inside the facility offers one main room with a working fireplace, a large screened-in porch, a small prep kitchen, a handicapped accessible restroom and the use of a large patio overlooking the Perkiomen Creek. We provide tables and chairs, parking and handicapped accessibility.
