Montgomery County is starting to work on a new comprehensive plan, Montco 2050. Our comprehensive plan focuses on big ideas - land use, housing, transportation, open space, water resources, the economy, and more. But first and foremost it's a plan for you! What planning issues are affecting you and your neighborhood? Your municipality? What do you think the county’s strengths are? Our opportunities?
While this planning process will be ongoing until the plan is adopted in 2025, it’s never too early to get feedback on what our planning priorities should be. Join us either in-person or virtually at the first of what is sure to be many opportunities to learn more about our work on Montco 2050.
We’re looking to hear from you! We welcome your feedback in a variety of ways:
Leave us a comment on our Padlet. Padlet is an online spot for sticky notes, links, photos, and suggestions. It’s organized by topic, and we’ll leave it up for as long as we’re working on the plan documents.
Take our survey. Our Montco 2050 survey is online and ready for your feedback.
Invite us to visit! We’d be happy to talk more with you, your organization, or your municipality. Contact us for more information.
That being said, 2025 is still (relatively) far in the future. There’s plenty of time for you to have your voice heard, and we’ll be rolling out more ways to get involved in 2023.
