DATE #1:Monday, April 25, 2022 - 7:00 p.m. DATE #2:Tuesday, April 26, 2022 - 12:00 p.m. LOCATION:Free Webinar on Zoom
Montgomery County is holding a second round of public webinars as part of the process of updating its hazard mitigation plan, and we invite you to participate via Zoom on either Monday, April 25, at 7:00 p.m. or Tuesday, April 26, at 12:00 p.m. The webinar is scheduled on two dates to provide for greater participation; the same agenda will be covered at both meetings. Please register for one of the two available dates to receive the Zoom webinar information, which will be sent to you the day before the event.
The webinar will provide the results of a risk assessment matrix, completed by local emergency response personnel. The matrix measures and compares the impact and likelihood of each of the 29 defined hazards that affect Montgomery County communities. Webinar participants will have an opportunity to submit comments. Public input on threats and hazards in local communities will result in a more comprehensive plan.
(Please note that this meeting is not a part of the county’s Hurricane Ida response. For information on assistance and relief efforts pertaining to Hurricane Ida, please visit this link: https://www.montcopa.org/3878/Hurricane-Ida)
