The Triple Dam Trail Run – 10K & 5k mini dam

The Friends of Green Lane Park will host their 4th annual 10K trail run event. Registration can be accessed on The ‘Friends’ Facebook page and the Green Lane Park website.  Meet at the Deep Creek Stone Lodge, 2115 Snyder Road, Green Lane, PA 18054.  All ages; fee for race registration: $35 before the deadline (January 15th, 2020), $40 day of event. 


SUMMER CONCERT SERIES: TOOKANY CREEK BLUEGRASS BAND

Join us for an evening of music in the park. Come on out for a generous slice of Americana. The unmistakable sound of banjo, guitar, mandolin, fiddle and doghouse bass! Add a heapin’ helpin’ of terrific three part vocal harmonies and you get the perfect recipe for a great evening of family entertainment…That’s TOOKANY CREEK BLUEGRASS!  Please bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.   All ages; free.

Visit military and civilian encampments, tour the mansion and see special exhibits, join in the music & songs of the time, visit the Civilian Street for demonstrations, kids can participate in the Be a Soldier Kid Enlistment activity, and much more. Food vendor available. Masks are required for the speaker & tours of the mansion.  All ages; FREE, suggested donation $2 per person. www.ppmcivilwar.org

Join us for an evening of music in the park.  Louisiana Zydeco dancehall hits and Cajun blues mixes with vintage New Orleans rhythm & blues into a spicy gumbo of irresistible Louisiana dance music will get you smiling and tapping your toes, some folks can’t help it, got to get up and dance!  Please bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.   All ages; free.


Vintage Baseball at its Best!

 Join the Athletics Base Ball Club of Philadelphia vs the Brandywine Base Ball Club as they play the all-American game of baseball as it was played in the early days. Bring your chair or blanket to sit on. Pennypacker Mansion open for tours by pre-reservation. Masks required for tours of the mansion.

All ages; FREE, suggested donation $2/person.
