The Montgomery County Office of Public Health’s Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Free Nurse Home Visiting Program gives pregnant women and families, particularly those considered at-risk, necessary resources and skills to raise children who are physically, socially, and emotionally healthy and ready to learn.

By electing to participate in the MCH program, families receive free help from a Public Health Nurse. Through regular, planned home visits, parents learn how to improve their family’s health and provide better opportunities for their children. Home visits may include:
The MCH Nurse Home Visiting program provides flexibility in enrollment criteria, geographic area (within Montgomery County), and the duration of the program.
Any pregnant woman or new mother, father, partner or other caregiver that lives in Montgomery County.
