The Montgomery County Case Management/Coordination sites are for uninsured individuals or individuals with State-Funded Medicaid insurance.
Individuals with private insurance should contact their insurance company and ask what behavioral health benefits are available to them.
The Montgomery County Office of Drug & Alcohol is contracted with treatment providers for many levels of care. All facilities are state-licensed treatment facilities. This treatment is offered on a continuum of care model:

Detox | 24-hour detoxification services to individuals struggling with substance use who has risk for withdrawal symptoms (seizures, DTs, nausea, vomiting, chills, etc) | 5-7 days | Rehabilitation services |
Rehabilitation | 24-hour residential treatment services to individuals struggling with substance use. This level of care combines individual, group and family/couples therapy (if appropriate) and supports an individual to “rehab” an individual to support returning to regular everyday living. Longer-term rehabilitation focuses more of habilitation and life skills training. | Varies depending on the severity of the substance use but can range from 14-30 days (short term) or up to 90 days (long term) | Halfway House or Outpatient treatment program |
Halfway House | Facility is located in the community and staffed 24/7. Programs focus on developing self-sufficiently through counseling, employment and other services. | Up to 6 months | Outpatient (non-residential) treatment |
Treatment is provided on a non-residential basis and consists of psycho-education, group therapy, individual therapy and family/couples therapy (when appropriate).

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) can be offered at any level of care. The three main types of MAT include:
