We are privileged to serve the men and women and their families who have so ably served our country in times of war and peace. We are here to help the Montgomery County Veteran Community* wade through the intricate and sometimes complicated process of obtaining veteran-related benefits and services. We encourage you to take advantage of this free service.
[*Definition: Veterans with other than dishonorable discharges, their spouses, children, and other caregivers.]
On this site veterans and their families will find information on their rights, benefits, and links to other federal and state sources of information. Thank you for your service. We honor you.
The people of Montgomery County are grateful for the many sacrifices each veteran has made in service to our country for the cause of worldwide freedom. As a symbol of their appreciation, the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners extends certain free services and benefits to resident members of the Montgomery County Veteran Community.
The Montgomery County Office of Veterans Affairs (OVA) is strategically placed in the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Many of our Resident Veterans are eligible for OVA services and other program services such as Senior Services, Public Health, Mental Health or Drug & Alcohol. Contact the Office of Community Connections at 610-278-3522 for more details on these other programs.
