The Montgomery County Office of Aging and Adult Services (AAS) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring services for county residents age 60 and older. As the area agency on aging, AAS is part of a state and national network of agencies established to aid older adults by offering a wide range of services.

Level of Care Assessments

Consumers referred to AAS are given an assessment in order to determine whether or not that person is best served in a long-term care facility or in his or her own home with community-based services. To request a referral for a Level of Care Assessment, contact our intake department at 610-278-3601.
