Earlybird Walk

Montgomery County’s Green Lane Park will offer an “Earlybird Walk” on Saturday, May 15th beginning at 8:00 a.m.  Join us in a search for spring migrants and breeding birds at the Green Lane Park Important Bird Area. 

May is peak time to observe warblers, vireos, flycatchers and more as they make their journey north from the tropics. Program will meet outside Park Office (2144 Snyder Road, Green Lane, PA 18054). The program is free, but pre-registration is required. Suitable for ages 12 and up. Call (215) 234-4528 to reserve your spot. 

 NOTE: Due to COVID 19 protocol, masks will be required for all attendees at these outdoor programs.

Morrow/Ford Duo

Join us for an evening of music in the park for our 2021 Summer Concert Series.   The Morrow/Ford duo is a coming together of two musical kindred spirits - their mission: to explore the vast and rich catalogue of Jerry Garcia and David Grisman!  Please bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on. All ages; free.

CREEK CRITTERS

Montgomery County’s Green Lane Park will hold a program entitled “Creek Critters” on Saturday, May 29th, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Join us for a close-up look at life in the Perkiomen Creek. We will use nets, pans, and magnifiers to investigate the diversity of creatures that make their home in the moving waters. All creatures will be released at end of the program. Program is free, but pre-registration required. Suitable for ages 4 to adult. Call (215) 234-4528 to reserve your space(s).

SUNDAY JUNE 13TH, 2021         9am -11pm             

Kid's Fishing Clinic & Derby

 (UPDATE - PROGRAM IS FILLED TO CAPACITY)

Join us for our 2nd Annual Fishing Clinic & Derby hosted by local professional bass tournament angler Grae Buck.  Grae and his assistants will provide an instructional clinic followed by a fishing derby with free prizes!  50 person max – registration is required.  Ages 18 and younger.  Meet at the Deep Creek Boat Launch (3036 Deep Creek Rd., Green Lane, PA 18054).  Call the park office at 215-234-4528 to register.  Free

Red Hill Band

Join us for an evening of music in the park for our 2021 Summer Concert Series.   The Red Hill Band was formed on December 6, 1900 at the Red Hill Hotel in Red Hill, PA.  At the time, 22 members were involved with the organization. 

Today the Red Hill Band has 60+ members and was under the direction of Norman E. Stull.  Prior to Mr. Stull’s direction, Mr. Vincent Bercher was the director of the band for over 40 years.  The band continues to grow and perform at many venues.  Our members range in age from 16-93 years old.  Many of our playing members are or were music teachers in various schools and colleges throughout the region. Please bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on.

Steve Pullara & His Cool Beans Band

Join us for an evening of music in the park for our 2021 Summer Concert Series.  Steve Pullara is a children's & family concert performer and recording artist. He's been ranked among the top ten entertainers of the Philadelphia region's Intelligencer Newspaper. His work as a children's genre recording talent and producer have garnered such top awards as a Grammy®, two Grammy® nominations, a U.S. Congressional Citation, various and numerous recognition awards from organizations such as Parents' Choice, NAPPA and  Hot Digitty Awards. These are among the children's recording industry's highest milestones. Steve has also collaborated in two PRPS Excellence Awards for Event Programming and received a Caring Community Award for sharing music & art with special needs children. His songs have consistently received international airplay to which he has accepted the ASCAP-Plus Award. He performs and writes for all ages and many types of settings. Please bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on. All ages; free.

Little Red Rooster Blues Band

Join us for an evening of music in the park for our 2021 Summer Concert Series.  Since their formation in 1988, the Little Red Rooster Blues Band have become one of the Delaware Valley’s premier blues bands, consistently delivering their own brand of blues, always combined with a crowd pleasing, high-energy performance and a whole lot of fun!  To date, they have released 7 CDs of original material, all of which were widely acclaimed by critics and fans alike! In February of 2015, the band was inducted into the International Blues Hall of Fame, and in 2016, they were voted Best Band in Bucks County, PA, by the organization Bucks Happening. In July of 2018, the band’s CD made Living Blues Radio Chart’s Top 25. Their passion and respect for the music, along with their ability to fully engage their audiences, virtually guarantees a phenomenal live blues experience, every time.  Please bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on. All ages; free.
