Partial hospitalization services consist of daytime programs which provide intensive, therapeutic and rehabilitation services. Services may include but are not limited to individual and group therapy, activity-focused therapy, and psychiatric services such as evaluation, diagnosis and medication monitoring. Partial hospitalization generally is a community-based alternative for children and adolescents who, without this level of intervention and support, may require inpatient hospitalization. The County also has specialized partial programs for adolescents and preschoolers.
