Clinical Services
The Montgomery County Office of Public Health (MCOPH) provides confidential Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) testing, treatment, and counseling services, and confidential or anonymous Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) testing and counseling, to all Montgomery County residents 13 years of age and older.
Cost
Services are provided at no cost.

STD/HIV testing and treatment services are provided at MCOPH clinic sites only during STD/ HIV clinic hours.
Locations/Hours
The Office of Public Health clinic in Pottstown is open for services by appointment only. Call 610-970-5040 to make an appointment.
The clinics in Norristown and Willow Grove are temporarily closed.
Prevention Services
Condom Distribution
MCOPH provides free condoms to all residents upon request who live or go to school in Montgomery County, PA. If you are interested, contact OPH at (610) 278-5117, and ask to speak with someone from the Division of Communicable Disease Control or click here to submit online.
Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP)
PrEP is a medication taken by people who don’t have HIV, but who are at high risk of getting infected. When taken as prescribed, PrEP is very effective (estimated 99%) at preventing HIV infection.
HIV Navigation Services- STEPS to Care (HNS)
HNS is a program designed to guide clients who are high-risk for HIV and person diagnosed with HIV to health care systems, assisting with health insurance and transportation, identifying and reducing barriers to care, and tailoring health education to the client to support their full engagement in care.
Partner Services (PS)
PS is a free, voluntary, and confidential service where trained MCOPH staff support notification of partners who have been exposed to STDs/HIV.
