Prenatal Services Program

The Prenatal Service Program (PSP) makes prenatal care and other maternity services available and accessible to qualified applicants. This program is available at:

Services are Culturally Sensitive
  • Early prenatal care, including centering pregnancy
  • Prenatal related laboratory tests
  • Instruction on normal physical changes and common discomforts
  • Diet information and counseling to help you eat properly
  • Assistance with smoking cessation and substance abuse
How to Qualify/Enroll
  • Must be low income, uninsured pregnant women who live in Montgomery County and are rejected by Medical Assistance
  • Enrollment must be before 28 weeks gestation
  • Hospital clinic qualifies the applicant
Program funding is limited and is through PADOH Maternal and Child Health Title V Grant.
